Wanderlust appeals to me. I didn’t know that until I had no choice. The truth of the matter is that the need to find a place to live was thrust upon me. My roommate of eight years was moving to another state, and I would be left holding my bag of clothes. One might suppose the stereotypical label of a wandering gypsy was established at that moment but it was not. It took several explorations, trials and errors before this sojourner began her travels which you are now invited to join.

More about me
Before this adventure began, I ran a not-for-profit Kentucky corporation called the Franciscan Peace Center. Shortly before that venture, I returned to Lexington from Chicago where I had spent two years studying urban ministry and spiritual direction, serving as a spiritual companion intern with formerly homeless women with children.

I am an Associate with the Sisters of Saint Francis of Clinton, Iowa. I was commissioned in 1993 as a Lay Pastoral Minister of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Lexington, having completed a three-year Ministry Formation Program. I have served as a Hospice volunteer and a spiritual companion.

My passions are spiritual growth, discerning life choices, spiritual companionship, and envisioning new beginnings.

I am a mother of three adult children and am lovingly called Grandma by Sophia, Joshua and Jacob. Lexington, Kentucky is my current home base.

Welcome to my world.
