I like living on this part of our planet where each year is divided into four seasons. Nature undergoes a cyclical death and re-birth in the seasons of autumn and spring. Summer has the privilege of nourishing new life while winter holds vigil over dormant seeds of next year’s bounty. When the weather is “unseasonable”, the season adjusts accordingly. We might have to wait to plant our gardens due to lingering frost, but we will still enjoy the harvest. I like the assurance of such recurring cycles.
