The air is still, a few bird songs linger, a neighbor walks by stepping lightly on the mulched trail so she’s barely audible. The weather forecast says temperatures will dip into the twenties tonight. I’m debating whether to light a fire or turn up the heat. So far the Merlot is keeping me warm on this first night in the Grace cabin.
